Content

1.1. To note that all the Discretionary Rate Relief (DRR)
foregone income has now been committed up until 31 March 2026. This
includes the 6 outlined in Appendix A who applied during round 3 of
DRR and were awarded in September 2024. All other awards were
applied in 2023/24 and approved by the now disbanded VCS
committee.
1.2. To note the awarding of DRR awards to organisations in
round 3 listed in Appendix A for 3 years from the receipt of their
applications to 31 March 2026 subject to valuations of the premises
falling within the threshold for DRR as outlined in the policy
(Appendix B).
1.3. To agree a review of the Discretionary Rate Relief Scheme
to consider how the council can further support not-for-profit
organisations in Islington with a new round of DRR from April
2026
