Recommendations:

1 To approve the strategy for the procurement of contract(s) for the provision of property, casualty (liability) and terrorism insurance policies jointly with the Insurance London Consortium (ILC), as outlined in this report.
2 To approve continued collaboration with the ILC to run an open market tender to secure a contract(s) with a suitable supplier or suppliers (as the policies are awarded separately) for a period of up to five years, at an estimated value of £10.0m (£2.0m per annum, including a £0.2m per annum contingency over historical cost).
3 To delegate authority to award the contract(s) to the Corporate Director of Resources following consultation with the Executive Member for Finance.
4 To note that the final evaluation model for this procurement will be determined collectively by the ILC and to delegate authority to the Corporate Director of Resources to negotiate the evaluation model with the ILC consortium, within the parameters detailed in the report.
