About

The Kensington and Chelsea Planning Committee is responsible for making decisions on significant planning applications. This includes applications that substantially deviate from the development plan, or those that the Mayor of London must be consulted on and the Director for Planning and Place believes the committee should decide. The committee also considers applications referred from the Planning Applications Committee and any others the Director deems appropriate for its review. It has the power to delegate certain matters to the Planning Applications Committee.
