Purpose

  1. Approving the commissioning of contractor FM Conway Ltd to deliver the phase 1 Cremorne Wharf repair works referenced in Section 4 of this report by using the Council’s existing Highways Maintenance and Projects contract terms and conditions.

Approving the order value of £537,503.45 excluding VAT (£645,004.14 including VAT) under the Council’s existing NEC4 Highways Maintenance and Projects Term Contract lot 3 Highways Maintenance and Projects (the Highways Term Contract), based on the contract set out in (1) above for an estimated 4 to 6 months construction period.
  3. Approving the amount assigned for contingencies set out in the exempt from publication (Part B) Appendix 1
  4. Approving the delegation to the Strategic Capital Head of Service applying for licences and or entering into agreements that may be required by Port of London Authority (PLA), Thames Water Developer Services, Thames Tideway, Environmental Agencies (EA) and Marine Management Organisation and any other statutory authority to facilitate the works and the consent of these statutory authorities
