Purpose

Approval is sought to initiate the procurement by direct award of a new IT Parking Suspensions System for the Council. This system aims to enhance service delivery, improve data management, and support ongoing digital transformation efforts.

Decision

The Executive Director AGREED to:

1. Approve the award of a direct call-off contract from the G-Cloud 14 Framework Agreement, Lot 2 (RM1557.14) to FARTHEST GATE LIMITED (Company Registration Number: 08054704) for the provision of the Liberator Highways and Streetworks Licensing software at a cost of £192,750 excluding VAT (£231,300 including VAT) for 2 years with the option to extend for an additional year at the cost of £49,000 excluding VAT (£58,800 including VAT) for a total value of the contract over the 3-year term is £241,750 excluding VAT (£290,100 including VAT).
2. Approve the award of a direct call-off contract from the G-Cloud 14 Framework Agreement, Lot 2 (RM1557.14) to FARTHEST GATE LIMITED (Company Registration Number: 08054704) for the provision of the Liberator Parking Suspensions software at a cost of £371,750 excluding VAT (£446,100 including VAT) for 2 years with the option to extend for an additional year at the cost of £118,000 excluding VAT (£141,600 including VAT) for a total value of the contract over the 3-year term is £489,750 excluding VAT (£587,700 including VAT).
