Purpose
The Housing Growth team is
working in partnership with Connect Housing, a Dewsbury based
housing association, to deliver a two-storey supported living
apartment block of 13 x 1 and 2 bed apartments with associated
office, gardens and parking for adults
with a social care/housing support at St Pauls Road,
Mirfield.
On 1st Sept 2020, Cabinet
delegated Authority to the Strategic Director (Economy &
Infrastructure) to:
(i) negotiate and agree the terms of disposal with
Connect Housing and
(ii) determine the
appropriate level of discount following comprehensive assessment of
Connect Housing’s development appraisal.
A report was provided to the
Executive Director (Place) on 15th November 2024 setting
out the terms of the disposal and the proposed level of discount,
as per the delegated authority set out above. The decision is to approve the Heads of Terms for
the disposal and the proposed discount.
