Purpose

Museums and Galleries are
currently developing and rolling out the Masterplan for Oakwell
Hall and Country Park. The aim of the Masterplan is to develop and
maximise revenue streams for the site, add value to the visitor
experience and become less dependent on financial support from the
Council.

As a part of the enabling
works to deliver the Oakwell Masterplan the decision was made to
review the food and beverage provision on site to ensure that it
aligned with the sites commercial aspirations and the visitor needs
and expectations of a flagship heritage/ tourism site.
