Purpose

To update Cabinet on the
financial challenges facing leisure centres and the implications
this is likely to have on the current service offer. 
 
The report will seek agreement
to progress to a non-statutory consultation to aid decision making
around any future changes to the current estate.

RESOLVED –
 

1)   
That approval be given for a consultation to commence in order to inform subsequent decision making.

2)   
That authority be delegated to the Strategic Director for Adults
& Health, in consultation with the S151 Officer and relevant
Cabinet members, to accept and use funding from Sport England, if
awarded.
