Purpose

The item is the July 2023
iteration of the Council Plan which will go to Cabinet and Council
for sign-off in July 2023.
 
The July 2023 update will
formally extend the current (2021/23) Council Plan (approved at
Council on 13 October 2021) up until January 2024.
 
 
Key internal stakeholders have
been engaged in the development process.
 
Partners have also been engaged
in conversations regarding future revisions to population
indicators, which will be included in the next iteration of the
Council Plan.

RESOLVED –
 

1)   
That the report be referred to Council on 12 July with a
recommendation that the Council Plan be adopted and included in the
Policy Framework for the Council, setting the overarching strategic
direction for the services and activities relating to the business
of the Council. (The Plan was attached at Appendix 1)
 

2)   
That any required amendments arising out of the consideration of
the report at the meeting of Council be delegated to the Service
Director, Strategy and Innovation, in consultation with the Leader
of the Council.
