Purpose

To award a corporate contract for the provision of Lift
Maintenance services in accordance with Contract procedure
Rules.
 

Content

A contract is required for
the servicing and repair (including maintenance and testing) to
approximately 157 lifts, disabled platforms, stair lifts, and
wheelchair stair lifts at various premises located within the
Kirklees area. This is a mandatory health and safety requirement to
ensure ongoing compliance and follows on from many years of similar
servicing and repairs on the previous contracts.
 
The Contract Award is based
on the Most Economically Advantageous Tender. The evaluation
criteria used to evaluate the tenders received is 35% Price / 55%
Quality / 10% Social Value.
 
The outcome of the
procurement resulted in the contract being awarded to Ansa
Elevators Ltd
 
Annual estimated value of the
contract is £650,000.00 inclusive of extensions
The contract will commence on
1st October 2024 to 30th September 2026, with the provision to
extend for three (3) further twelve (12) month periods until 30th
September 2029.
