Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval to the granting of landlord’s consent to the assignment of a lease of property at Knowsley Business Park.

Decision

The Head of Housing and Property hereby: -

1. Approves the granting of consent to the assignment of a lease of property Webber Road, Knowsley Business Park, as detailed within this report.
2. Authorises the Head of Legal Services to prepare and complete the necessary legal documentation.

Alternative options considered

The lessee has a contractual right to assign the lease unless the Council as landlord can satisfy reasonable grounds for refusal.  No such grounds apply in this case.
