Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval for the non-award of contract for four (X4) 3.5t  crew cab tippers.

The reason for the decision is that a compliant procurement exercise has been undertaken in accordance with Contract Procedure Rule 10, due to the lead time for demonstration vehicles not aligning with the TPPL Framework renewal.

Decision

That the Assistant Executive Director (Neighbourhood & Commercial Services) agreed not to award a contract for the outright purchase of four (X4) 3.5t  crew cab tippers.

Alternative options considered

Award: This option was not feasible as the lead time for demonstration vehicles did not align with the TPPL Framework renewal.
