To review the planning, provision and
operation of adult social care and health care related services in
Lambeth (and any substantial variation therein) and consideration
of the health and well-being of the local population.
To review social care services for adults;
adults with learning disabilities; older people’s services;
residential care; carers; voluntary sector; disabilities; mental
health; people with or affected by HIV or AIDS; supporting people
services; street homelessness/ rough sleeping support services.
To review and have assurance regarding
partnership working with key health and social care partners
including primary care /hospital trusts and the NHS Integrated Care
Board.
To review and have assurance regarding Public
Health commissioned services and the impact of these services on
reducing health inequalities.
To assess the effectiveness of decisions in
the Lambeth Together Partnership and to make reports and
recommendations as appropriate.
To develop a work programme for scrutiny of
the adult social care and health care related functions of the
Council and partners in consultation with the Overview and Scrutiny
Committee and Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committees.
