Purpose
The Council currently has three contracts in place for Laptops, Associated Products and Services with:
SCC (UK) Ltd, Computacenter and XMA Ltd procured through a multi-borough contract called EA21 via the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework (RM6068) which offers councils combined and competitive pricing for procuring ICT devices.
These contracts run for the period 01 December 2021 and expire on 30 November 2023, with the option to extend a further 12 months. This report seeks approval to execute the provision to extend.
Decision
- To approve the extension of the SCC (UK) Ltd contract for the period 01 December 2023 to 30 November 2024 at a total cost of £115,000 (increasing the current contract value from £125,000 to £240,000).
- To note the extension of the Computacenter contract for the period 01 December 2023 to 30November 2024; no additional financial provision is required for this extension, with the current approved value of the contract remaining at £1,887,614.05.
- To approve the extension of the XMA Ltd contract for the period 01 December 2023 to 30 November 2024 at a total cost of £384,900, (increasing the current contract value from £125,000 to £509,900).
- To allocate the total of £499,900 (115k for SCC + £384,900 for XMA) from the currently unallocated theme budget for ICT infrastructure in the existing Capital Investment Programme (CIP) approved by Cabinet in July 2020.
