Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families decided to abandon the Child Friendly Lambeth Strategy and Programme Action Plan on 29/07/2024.

Cabinet Member for Healthier Communities (Councillor Marcia Cameron and Councillor Jim Dickson) approved the extension of the young people's substance misuse contract with Change, Live, Grow from 1 December 2023 to 31 March 2024 for £42,482.67 on 16/02/2024. This included an increase in the contract sum and funding from underspend and the substance misuse commissioning budget.

Councillor Danial Adilypour, Deputy Leader of the Council (Housing, Investment and New Homes) appointed Higgins Group as the Development Partner for Somerleyton Road Phase 2 and approved entering into a Planning Commencement Agreement and Development Agreement on 29/07/2024. This appointment follows a competitive tender process and will involve the redevelopment of council land at Somerleyton Road.
