Purpose

Approval for the waiver under Procurement Regulations for a unique programme supplied by NBS Ltd that allows the writing of technical specifications used within the Design and Construction area.

The supplier does not use resellers and are not on any frameworks so approval is required to waive Procurement Rule 9 which requires 3 quotes, and purchase from them via a direct award.

Decision

Carol Groom, Head of ICT Strategy & Assurance, on behalf of the Peter Lloyd, Director of Digital took a decision to approve the waiver under Procurement Rule 9 which requires three quotes and purchase from NBS Ltd under direct award.
