Purpose

This report requests the waiver of the county
council's Procurement Rules for the procurement of Permanent
Cold-lay Surfacing Material.

Content

The Leader of the Council, and the Cabinet
Member for Resources, HR and Property (Deputy Leader) approved the
recommendations as set out in the report.
 
This decision should be implemented
immediately for the purposes of Standing Order C28 as any delay
could adversely affect the execution of the county council's
responsibilities. The reason for this is to procurement adequate
stock of the material as soon as possible to ensure the Highways
teams' ability to continue to carry out essential works.
