Purpose

The proposals are being pursued as part of a
s278 Agreement under the Highways Act 1980 as part of a new housing
development which will introduce further traffic movements around
Tithebarn Street.
The purpose of the proposal is to upgrade the existing bus stops to
quality bus stop clearways. This is to allow the buses to pull in
and out safely and allow for effective enforcement.

A raised boarding platform will also be installed to ensure safe
boarding and alighting of passengers.

Consultations
Formal consultation was carried out between 17 July-2024 and 14
August-2024 which included notices being displayed on site.
Divisional county councillors were consulted along with the
council's usual consultees.

Following formal consultation No Objections were received
