The Cabinet of Lancashire Council approved key performance indicators for 2024/25 and actions in Appendix C on 5 September 2024. They also approved the commencement of procurement exercises for ServiceNow licenses, waste disposal services, agency staff solutions, minor adaptations, and road surfacing. The Cabinet approved the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System Dementia Strategy 2024-29. They also approved the creation of Special Educational Needs Units at Carnforth Community Primary School, Clayton Brook Primary School, and St Joseph's Roman Catholic Primary School, along with funding for necessary alterations and resources. The Cabinet resolved to undertake a public consultation on expanding Goosnargh Oliverson's Church of England Primary School. They also noted the current forecast overspend on the revenue budget and the forecast of capital expenditure for 2024/25. The Cabinet asked Full Council to approve the Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Plan 2024-25 and the Lancashire Children and Young People's Plan 2024-2028. They also noted three urgent decisions taken by the Leader and relevant Cabinet Members.
