Purpose

This
reportwill provide an overview of the Department for Work and
Pensions (DWP) Universal Support programme (supported employment
programme targeted at theeconomically inactive with
disabilities/health condition/disadvantage) and seek authorisation
to take forward an investment plan across the three upper tier
authorities for the programme (with Lancashire County Council as
theaccountable body) and acceptance and commissioning of the
grant.
