Purpose
The purpose of this proposal is
to remove the Bus Stop Clearway on Union Road, that is located 3.7
metres east of Havelock Street, to allow for a new section of
Limited Waiting parking.
This proposal will relocate the
westbound Bus Stop Clearway on Union Road to a more appropriate
location outside of Oswaldtwistle library in
order to improve bus priority and reduce delays to services
caused by parked vehicles.
This proposal removes the
existing Bus Stop Clearway outside number 187-189 Union Road, which
is no longer used or marked on site. The restriction at this
location will then revert back to the existing No Waiting Monday to

all day Sunday.
