The Council resolved to write to the Chancellor of the Exchequer regarding bus fare increases, the Chief Executive of the Post Office and Lancashire MPs concerning Post Office closures, the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport advocating for heritage funding, and the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and the Chancellor of the Exchequer concerning Trading Standards powers and funding.
