The Cabinet of Lancashire Council approved a collaborative interim plan for local government reorganisation on 20 March 2025. They also approved the release of £6m for Broughton-In-Amounderness Church of England Primary School and £4.9m for Cottam Primary School for final phases of capital projects. The Cabinet noted national SEND challenges and an inspection outcome, approving a Priority Action Plan for submission by 25 March 2025.
