The Cabinet of Lancashire County Council approved recommendations on 5 June 2025. They approved the discontinuation of sixth form provision at Moor Park High School and Sixth Form, effective 31 August 2026. They also approved the allocation of £19.4 million Growing Places Fund to the Lancashire Combined County Authority in principle and authorised contract variations for substance use treatment providers.
