Purpose

This report presents an application from a
local organisation requesting £1800 towards an upcoming trip
to Cheltenham where the band will represent the North West region
and the local area at a National Brass Band Competition, from the
Local Member Grants Scheme.

County Councillor James Tomlinson considered
and approved a Local Member Grant for the reduced amount of
£450 to Pilling Jubilee Silver Band towards the cost of an
upcoming trip to Cheltenham where the band will represent the North
West region and the local area at a National Brass Band
Competition.
 
The reason for the reduction is Councillor
Tomlinson is reserving funding for additional organisations
operating within his division.
