Purpose

This report presents an application from a
local organisation requesting £1330 towards to cover venue
rental and marketing costs for The Bay International Film
Festival's community events from the Local Member Grants
Scheme.

Content

County Councillor Gina Dowding considered and
approved a Local Member Grant for the reduced amount of £100
to The Bay International Film Festival towards the cost of venue
rental and marketing costs for The Bay International Film
Festival's community events.
 
The reason for the reduction is Councillor
Dowding states she has many requests for contributions from her
grant budget for a variety of deserving organisations who do
fabulous work in the community - including from many locally based
in my small patch of Lancaster. She fully support the aims of The
Bay International Film Festival and hopes they will be able to find
the rest of the funding to make this project a success again.
