Purpose

The report provides details of recent and
anticipated awards of Grant funding from the Department for
Transport and requests approval to add these monies to the
Transport Block of the Capital Programme. The report also sets out
the suggested approach for the subsequent allocation of funding to
specific projects/ initiatives.
 
This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the
requirements of the council's Cabinet procedure rules (Standing
Order C18, Consideration of Key Decisions) have been complied
with.
