Purpose

Lancashire County Council is committed to
delivering better outcomes for residents, whilst ensuring value for
money.
 
In the context of delivering our Living Better
Lives in Lancashire strategy, feedback for our Care Quality
Commission inspection and delivery of our Transformation and
Improvement programme, Cabinet is asked to approve the initiation
of a review of Older People and Disability Provider Services
(Lancashire County Council in-house provision) in Adult Social
Care, to determine their appropriateness and suitability for
Lancashire residents.
