Purpose
The proposals include the relocation of the
existing south bound bus stop further south to allow access to the
new vehicle compound. The new bus stop will be constructed as a
quality bus stop with a raised boarding platform, to ensure safe
boarding and alighting of mobility impaired passengers. The bus
stop clearway will allow the buses to pull in and out safely and
allow effective enforcement.
Consultations
Formal consultation was carried out between 04 November 2025 until
02 December 2025 which included frontagers to the proposed location
of the Bus Stop being notified and notices being displayed on site.
Divisional county councillors were consulted along with the
council's usual consultees.
Following formal consultation No Objections were received.
Decision

behalf of Matt Townsend, Director of Highways and
