Purpose

This report presents an application from a
local organisation requesting £800 towards instructor/tutor
fees for wide-ranging and inclusive activities, with the overall
aim of bringing different parts of the community together in a warm
and welcoming local space, from the Local Member Grants
Scheme.

County Councillor Liam Thomson considered and
approved a Local Member Grant for the reduced amount of £300
to Friends of Coal Clough Library towards the cost of
instructor/tutor fees for wide-ranging and inclusive activities,
with the overall aim of bringing different parts of the community
together in a warm and welcoming local space.
 
The reason for the reduction is Councillor
Thomson is reserving funding to support additional organisations
operating within his division.
