Purpose

The purpose of this proposal is a reduction of
the two existing bus stop clearways by 10 metres on Preston Rd,
Grimsargh. - New bus stop clearway will be 27m length. This will
allow the buses to pull in and out safely to align with the
equality boarding points, also the revised restriction will allow
effective enforcement to maintain such manoeuvres.

It is proposed to introduce seven Bus Stop Clearways to eliminate
the obstruction caused by parked vehicles at the kerbside, thereby
enhancing the efficiency and reliability of bus journeys
