The Cabinet of Lancashire Council approved revised terms of reference for the Cabinet Working Group for Museums, renaming it the Cabinet Working Group for Culture. They also approved a new Fairness, Equality and Inclusion Workforce Framework and delivery plan. The Cabinet further approved several proposals regarding primary and secondary school places in Preston, including the use of surplus places, phased opening of a new school, and permanent expansions of Ashton Community Science College, Moor Park High School, and Fulwood Academy. Additionally, they approved the draft Schools Budget 2026/27, the updated Highway Safety Inspection Policy, the revocation of the Lancashire Enhanced Partnership, and the making of a Traffic Regulation Order in Clitheroe. Finally, the Cabinet approved the commencement of six procurement exercises.
