Purpose

This report presents an application from a
local organisation requesting £1000 towards providing
refreshments at the Hug in a Mug support cafe, for people who are
affected by cancer, from the Local Member Grants Scheme.

Content

County Councillor Russell Walsh considered and
approved a Local Member Grant for the reduced amount of £600
to CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria towards the cost
of providing refreshments at the Hug in a Mug support cafe, for
people who are affected by cancer.
 
The reason for the reduction is Councillor
Wash is reserving funding to support additional organisations
operating in his division.
