Purpose

This report details highway proposals to enable the reinstatement of the bus route serving Thorntrees Avenue, Thornpark Drive, Hawthorn Crescent, Parkthorn Crescent, Campion Drive and The Campions in Lea, Preston. The previously operated service suffered from delays caused by on street parking. The proposals, in coordination with other schemes in the Bus Service Improvement Plan, aims to encourage a greater proportion of travel by sustainable methods.
