Purpose

106 agreement, under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, in relation to Ribble Valley planning application 3/2012/0942 as varied by 3/2015/0895 for Outline application for the outline for the erection of 1040 dwellings. The original agreement is dated 11th April 2016 and later varied on 9th October 2017.

The original S106 agreement includes transport and travel contributions totalling £2.2 million and these remain the same in the deed of variation.

Authority to take this decision has been delegated under the Scheme of Delegation to Heads of Service.

It is recommended that the Director of Law and Governance is authorised to enter into a Section 106 agreement under Section 106 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 in connection with the proposed development.
