Purpose

To approve the expenditure associated with Adult Skills Fund (ASF) Grant Funding Agreements for Academic Year 2026/27 and authorise officers to make payments to grant-funded providers in accordance with those agreements.

The expenditure relates to grant-funded providers whose Grant Investment Plans and Grant Funding Agreements have previously been approved and executed for Academic Year 2026/27.

The report also seeks approval of the associated monthly payment profiles, which will be used to administer and manage the approved expenditure through fixed value recurring monthly grant payments.

Decision

Denise Park, Head of Paid Service, Lancashire Combined County Authority, took a decision to:

i.  Approve expenditure of up to the amount in the report in respect of the Adult Skills Fund Grant Funding Agreements for Academic Year 2026/27, with payments to be made on a monthly basis as set out in Appendix A of the report; and

ii.  Authorised minor administrative adjustments to monthly payment values arising from rounding requirements, provided the overall annual allocation remains unchanged.
