Purpose

This report presents the findings of Ofsted’s recent inspection of Local Authority Children’s Services (ILACS) in Lancashire County Council. The inspection evaluated the effectiveness of children's social care services and the impact of leadership on outcomes for children, young people and families. The inspection assessed experiences and progress for children who need help and protection, children in care, care leavers, and the effectiveness of leadership, management and governance.
