Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board approved recommendations on 08/09/2020. The Board agreed that Dr Sakthi Karunanithi would connect with Communication and Engagement colleagues, Integrated Care System colleagues, and the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector regarding COVID-19 messages. They also agreed to add Sam Gorton to a distribution list for Healthwatch survey information. The Board noted the impact of COVID-19 on children and young people's emotional wellbeing and mental health, and agreed to a system-wide response including resource allocation, CAMHS redesign, embedding mental health support in schools, meeting waiting time standards, investing in early interventions, developing digital services, and co-production with young people. They also noted and supported ongoing measures for Lancashire care homes.
