The Joint Children's Services and Education Scrutiny Committee decided to note and discuss information on the COVID-19 pandemic response in Lancashire and consider key areas for future review on 07/07/2020. The committee noted strengths and challenges in education, social care, and family policy, including issues with free school meal vouchers and the viability of the early years sector. They will respond to a predicted rise in referrals, review health issues, and contribute to the National Care Review.
