The Education and Children's Services Scrutiny Committee resolved to approve recommendations regarding the Draft Education Strategy 2022-2025 and the Draft School Place Planning Strategy 2022-25 on 7 December 2021. The committee agreed to receive a copy of the model behaviour policy, tracking data on Elective Home Education, a briefing on the council's authority with schools, and data on EHE numbers and deprivation. They also agreed to note the report on the Draft School Place Planning Strategy and receive annual information on Geographical Priority Areas and twice-yearly data on school place assessments.
