The Lancashire County Council Development Control Committee approved planning permission for a portal framed building for recycled soil storage at Newbridge Farm, Simonswood. The committee also granted planning permission to amend a condition at Burn Hall Waste Transfer Station to allow household waste, subject to a Section 106 Agreement on HGV routing. Additionally, planning permission was granted for a temporary classroom at Lathom Park C of E Primary School. The committee resolved to visit a site in South Ribble Borough before considering a sand and gravel extraction proposal. The Head of Planning and Environment granted four planning applications under delegated powers.
