The Lancashire County Council Development Control Committee decided to grant planning permission for a solar farm extension on 19 January 2022. The committee also decided to defer a retrospective application for a waste recycling site pending further investigation by West Lancashire Borough Council. Six planning applications were granted permission by the Head of Planning and Environment under delegated powers.
