The Lancashire County Council Development Control Committee approved planning permission for a new composting building and continuation of use of an existing composting site. The committee also granted planning permission for a retrospective change of use of a haulage yard to waste recycling and for the variation of a condition to allow golf course re-contouring operations to continue. Planning permission was granted for a change of use of a building from place of worship to office space, including building works and a two-storey extension. The Head of Planning and Environment granted six planning applications under delegated powers.
