Lancashire County Council approved recommendations on 13/10/2022. The council resolved to call for the Right to Food to be incorporated into a government White Paper, declare itself a Right to Food Council, and appoint a food security champion. It also resolved to ask the Chief Executive to write to the Prime Minister regarding this request.
