The Lancashire Development Control Committee granted planning permission for the excavation of a lake and change of use of land to allow a commercial fishing lake on 21 December 2022. The decision included conditions controlling time limits, working programmes, depths and areas of excavation, highway matters, hours of operation, and landscaping/ecology.
