Lancashire County Council's Cabinet Member for Education and Skills and Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing decided on 23/02/2023 to write to the 3 Dads Walking Group acknowledging their work on suicide awareness in schools. The Chief Executive was asked to write to the Secretary of State for Education requesting consideration of suicide awareness in the RSHE curriculum and extension of mental health lead grants. The Cabinet Members were also asked to promote resources and encourage participation in the RSHE consultation.
