Purpose

In line with the county council's procurement rules this report sets out a recommendation to approve the commencement of the following procurement exercises:

(i)  Supported Accommodation for Young People and Combined Family Services

(ii)  Provision of NHS Health Checks

And a recommendation to waive the council's Procurement Rules as set out in Appendix 'R' of the council's Constitution for the extension of the following contract for a further four months, an additional month than that permitted by the council's Procurement Rules, to allow the procurement exercise to be satisfactorily completed:

(i)  Provision of Extra Care Services at Primrose Gardens, Chorley

This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the requirements of Standing Order C19 have been complied with.
