The Environment, Economic Growth and Transport Scrutiny Committee approved recommendations from the Public Realm Agreements Task Group on 29/06/2023. The committee agreed to an annual review of public realm work requirements and budget allocations, changing the date in clause 5.1 of Public Realm Agreements to 1st March, and offering other parish and town councils a chance to apply for direct allocation from the unallocated budget. They also encouraged partners to reduce glyphosate use, arranged for trials of other herbicides, and agreed to communicate the county council's programme of works to parish and town councils.
