The Full Council decided to approve recommendations from the Pension Fund Committee on 13/07/2023. The Pension Fund Committee noted its constitution and membership, budget monitoring for the period ending 31st March 2023, the Internal Audit Report 2023, and the 2021/22 Training Record. The Committee approved the 2022/23 Annual Report of the Pension Board, the updated Investment Strategy Statement, the updated Risk Appetite Statement, and the updated Treasury Management policy. The Committee also noted updates on responsible investment matters, the annual administration report, Local Pensions Partnership activity, investment context, investment performance, Investment Panel minutes, the Risk Register, and the Local Pensions Partnership Governance Review. The Committee recommended to Full Council the appointment of Antony Egerton as a Scheme Member representative and Fiona Miller as the new independent Chair of the Lancashire Local Pension Board, along with the draft contract of appointment for the new Chair and amended Terms of Reference for the Pension Board.
