Lancashire Full Council approved recommendations on 14/12/2023. The council resolved to record bullying complaints, confirm a zero-tolerance approach to bullying with increased focus in safeguarding training, and discuss best practice at the next headteachers' briefing. It also resolved to ask the Chief Executive to write to the Prime Minister and Secretary of State regarding dental provision, and to integrate the government's Plan for Drivers with existing council policies. Furthermore, the council will write to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs expressing concern over water companies passing costs to taxpayers and asking for action to prevent taxpayer funding for polluting companies and to address excess profits.
